The VX2000 is one of the most advanced digital systems for intercom and videointercom systems. It uses "BUS" connection system to meet all requirements of a medium to large installation. Recently the VX2000 digital system has been updated by a new line of intelligent
intercoms and videointercoms which have a built-in landing unit: this enables an installation to be carried out with fewer components than normally needed (i.e. No landing units required).

The VX2200 is an excellent system based on the latest digital technology that requires as few as 2 wires (“2 WIRE BUS”) to build sophisticated intercom for small to medium installations (max 180 flats using Art.3171,3172 and 3176, 255 using Art.3161 or 3162 on installation without the digital concierge). By adding another 4 wires (“6 WIRE BUS”) it is possible to build a videointercom system, without the need for a coax cable. The system has excellent audio and video quality and is very easy to install.

The VX2200 is the latest digital system produced by VIDEX and is continuously being expanded with new features. The latest updates include new 4000 series front panels Art.4202 and 4202R (both in audio and audio/video versions), the new 800 series front panels Art.2202-1 and 2202-1R, the new digital concierge Art.2210-1 both with a number of new facilities, the “2 WIRE BUS” telephone interface Art.2280 and the new 3000 series phones and videophones specific for the VX2200 system (from which

the Art.3161 and 3162 that allows to build a 255 flats system).

The new front panels are fully programmable from the PC by using the relevant Windows software, they have additional features including speech playback (to help blind visitors), six different languages for messages etc. and they have an expanded memory which can store more than one user name in the same apartment (up to 255 users data).

The new digital concierge Art.2210-1 has new features, one of which is the PC-connection that converts the concierge into a PC-Concierge, allowing a PC to execute all the concierge functions with additional functions and databases.

The Art.2280 enables the “2 WIRE” Bus to be connected with the Art.275, 380 and 500MM. The new 3000 series intercoms and videointercoms (versions specific to the VX2200 system) all (except the Art.3161 and 3162) have an alarm input that when activated, sends a message to the digital concierge (if present on the system).

VX2200 digital system doesn’t allow the installation of the intercoms and videointercoms 3000 series and 900 series on the same system, so use peripherals of only one series. 255 flat system can be only audio e made using only intercoms Art.3161 (or 3162).

The speaker units (traditional or digital) must be set up to work with 900 series, 3000 series or with intercoms 3161 (or 3162).

All VIDEX digital systems allows the installation of the digital concierge without the necessity of other accessories.
